Network commitments :
To federate the National Institutes of Tourism (INNTO France) with the status of schools or institutes within universities (under the conditions set out in article L 713-9 of the French Education Code).
Support the structuring of the network and position the status of INNTOs within university sites and with their supervisory bodies.
Strengthen the influence and visibility of the network and its members among higher education and research players and tourism professionals in France and abroad.
Create a common policy to raise the profile of higher education and research in tourism in France and abroad.
Support joint initiatives in tourism education and research.
Promote the efforts of those involved in training to develop talent capable of taking the ecological transition in its stride.
Jean-René Morice, Director of INNTO ESTHUA, talks about this ambitious project:
"The creation of this network was announced by Jean Castex, then Prime Minister, in November 2021. A total of 8 million euros will be dedicated to tourism training. It's a strong signal of confidence sent to us by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. The aim of this network is to position and consolidate France's position in public higher education in the fields of training, research and innovation in tourism. This will enable us to develop the visibility and legibility of our training offer to attract new talent, but also to step up the level of teaching on offer.
Jean-René Morice
It is imperative that our training courses include responses to societal challenges such as sustainable development and ecological transition, as well as digitalization and new managerial methods. We are training the talents, managers and entrepreneurs of tomorrow, and to do this we need to meet the needs and expectations of employers. This may involve apprenticeships, but also blended learning...
Everything has to be invented. We are ready and proud to devote ourselves to this major project.
