New Continuing education course: Implementing an ecological transition approach in your organization

The University of Angers offers an online training course dedicated to tourism professionals wishing to reduce the environmental impact of their facilities while respecting the principles of sustainable development.

With 19 hours of training over 3 days, this course will equip you with the tools you need to successfully implement a sustainable approach, from the diagnostic phase through to full implementation.

🎯 Training objectives:

This training course will enable you to:

  • Understand the challenges of sustainable tourism and define an action plan adapted to your structure.
  • Integrate sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) criteria to obtain certification.
  • Apply good ecological practices on a daily basis and develop communication skills to raise awareness among your customers and partners.

💻 Full program :

Day 1: The challenges of sustainable tourism and the CSR approach (3h in the morning and 4h in the afternoon)
Day 2: Labeling and responsible communication (4h in the morning and 3h in the afternoon)
Day 3: Good ecological practices and evaluation (4h in the morning)

👩‍🎓 Target audience:

This course is aimed at all tourism professionals: tourist offices, hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, campsites, ecolodges, as well as people undergoing professional retraining and tourism project owners.

Terms and conditions

Training dates: November 20, 21 and 26, 2024

Online registration: June 20 to October 17, 2024

Cost: €1875 (possibility of applying for the Skills Development Plan)

Not eligible for CPF

Final assessment: Wednesday November 27, 2024 in the form of online MCQs
